I live in the house at the East end of the property, the right in this picture, together with my husband, John, occasionally one or both of my daughters and our dog Fester.  Sometimes we also share our house and grounds with other animals:

 

     Sheep (varying numbers)                       Geese (up to 12)

     Pine martins                                         Swifts (nesting at the house again this year)

     Foxes (though not too popular)               Owls (one, actually, so far but we hope for a mate)

     Deer                                                     Buzzard (OK; seen it, not identified it, big & a meat eater)

 

John and I find it easier to have definite roles around Ardochy.  I constitute management, and he doesn't.  So, if it's broke, bent, empty, over-full, stiff or loose it's his department. If it's strategy, money or opportunity then I like to handle it.  This situation will remain for so long as John doesn't know the password for the internet site managment program.
